Hey! I’m David Schatz. I’m a hybrid product & project manager for analytics systems, with expertise at the intersection of UX, data, and business strategy. Also, I’m an avid traveler and information enthusiast.

This website aims to be my “central” online presence. Other background on me: I’m a business-minded techie, currently based in Silicon Valley, California — but with enough trips to the East Coast that I consider myself bi-coastal.  Professionally, I’m passionate about enterprise tech and data. Basically, I get excited by the ways businesses leverage information to drive intelligent decisions.

I’ve held all sorts of roles in data governance, designing, and supporting complex data & analytical systems. Check out my Selected Work section for some highlights.

I also recently completed a Masters from Northwestern in Information Systems, where I studied business considerations around analytics platforms. My thesis won the distinguished thesis award.
